About Neovite
Colostrum UK was established in 2001 to develop the UK market for cows’ first milk – surplus colostrum from the first hours after calving. First milk is a valuable food, rich in immune and repair factors which has been prized by farmers for thousands of years.
While acting as distributor for New Zealand’s largest producers, we have created our own Internet brand “ Neovite”. Online sales keep the delivery chain so short that customers are just two steps from the cow. This is how Neovite has became the best value sports nutrition in the market .
Colostrum UK has supported scientific research with projects at St George’s Medical School and Bart’s Medical School both in London, and sports science research at Aberystwyth, Liverpool JM and Hertford Universities, Our work demonstrating improved immune markers after exercise in cyclists has been published in the British Journal for Nutrition, and another, where we showed reduced exercise-induced gut dysfunction in runners, was published in the American Journal of Physiology. We will be keeping WT members informed of all the latest work by our researchers at Aberystwyth.
Neovite and Triathlon
Last season we were able to support the Welsh Triathlon Youth Squad, who reported good results and consistent good health. This year we look forward to top class results from Welsh Triathletes as they will be joining a growing band of successful individual performers - .runner Cecilia Morrison, veteran World Record Holder at 1500 and 5000 metres, Ultra-marathon record breakers Mimi Anderson and Sharon Gayter, UK tennis number one Elena Baltacha, national triathlon champions Scott Neyedli and Emma-Kate Lidbury, and in cycling Gustav Larsson, time trial silver medallist at the Beijing Olympics, and teen sensation Germain Burton, UK National U16 TT Champion.
