Bigmoose Supertri 2

Published:

The Bigmoose Supertri 2 confirmed for 20th December 2015

The bigmoose supertri 2 is essentially a day of fun for both the volunteers and the amazing super kids who will be taking part.

Each of these children has a disability of some sort from cerebral palsy, to cystic fibrosis to blindness.
The whole event is about each individual child achieving their own personal goals and taking part in something they may never have thought possible.

The children will all take part in a swim, cycle and a run, and they will then be awarded a medal and a goodie bag at the presentation ceremony, which is going to be awesome!!

Each volunteer will be assigned a job, most will be working with a child.
All volunteers will be given a number between 1 and 100, on the day they will then be partnered with the child that has the same number. volunteers will then work with this child and their family for the whole day, supporting them, for example, helping them to do the running lap or the cycling lap or just being there to help and support the family.
There are also other jobs such as registration and helping with the co ordination of the day which some volunteers will be asked to do.

Volunteers will all have different experiences of the day as every child has different needs and requirements however, we hope it will be a very moving and inspirational day as these super kids achieve things that they may never have thought possible with the help of the bigmoose team.

The Event will be held on Decmeber 20th 2015 between 9am-1pm at n.i.a.c. at Cardiff met in Cyncoed.
