Gemau Cymru / IRC Qualifier

Entries are now being accepted for the Gemau Cymru / IRC Qualifier event planned for Parc Bryn Bach, near Tredegar, on the morning of Sunday 3 July 2016.

Race distances will be:

Race1 Tristar 2: 200m swim, 4.1 km bike, 1.2 km run

Race 2 Tristar 3: 300m swim, 7.1 km bike, 2.0 km run

Race 3 Youth/ Junior: 400m swim, 10.1 km bike, 2.5 km run

The swim will be in the lake (wetsuits required), bike on a closed circuit and a run around the lake. This year all races will be non-drafting.

The entry fee will be £15 for Welsh Triathlon members.

As this is part of Gemau Cymru, expressions of interest need to be sent to gemaucymru@urdd.org by 10 June 2016. After this date the Urdd will send each athlete information on how to enter the race and information about Gemau Cymru.

The final date for entering the race will be Tuesday 28 June 2016.
