Welsh Triathlon are pleased to announce the dates for further Racing Skill Schools

 
Welsh Triathlon are pleased to announce the dates for further Racing Skill Schools, following on from the success of training at Maindy, Cardiff and Colwyn Bay. The aim of the Racing Skill Schools is to allow T2, T3, youth and junior athletes to train in bigger age and ability groups, whilst practicing race specific skills and mini races, whilst enabling coaches from different clubs to work together and share ideas.
The sessions with be delivered by National, Regional and Club coaches.  Each Racing skill school will involve learning and practicing race specific skills, to then put them into practice in mini races.
 
Each will run from approximately 10am to 4pm.  There will be a limited number of places for each Racing Skill School, which are available to be online from 1st April 2016 - Click Here
 
Confirmatory details of each Racing Skill School will be sent out approximately two weeks prior.
 
Saturday 30th Apr Marsh Tracks Rhyl - Group riding skills, running drills and skill, transitions and mini duathlons.
 
Saturday 28th May Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar – Open water swimming focus*, along with cycling around the undulating a technical course and running off the bike.
 
Sunday 5th June Lyn Padarn, Llanberis – Open water swimming focus* along with running and strength and conditioning.
 
*For open water swimming events, athletes need to be able to swim 400m continuous and will need a wetsuit.
