New course available for Level 2 Triathlon coaches

What is the significance of Coaching Strength and Conditioning in triathlon? 
 
Strength and conditioning has become an integral part of all sports training programmes and is a must for any athlete wanting to the make the most out of themselves, both for races and to reduce the risks of injury. Welsh Triathlon recognises the increased demand in the area and to meet the need of our coaches will be running a 1st4Sport Level 2 Strength and Conditioning course, specifically aimed at triathlon coaches.
 
Who is the course for? 
 
The course is for Level 2 and above triathlon coaches and will improve their knowledge and ability to deliver safe and effective conditioning programmes. All days must be attended and pass the assessment to gain the qualification. 
 
When and where is the course? 
 
The course runs over two weekends, 3-4th Oct and 7-8th Nov at the National Indoor Athletics Centre (NIAC), Cyncoed Campus, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cyncoed Road, Cardiff, South Glamorgan CF23 6XD
 
How much will it cost? 
 
The total cost is £295.
