Welsh results at the British Traithlon U20 Festival

A great day of racing from the Welsh athletes at the British Triathlon U20's Festival in Nottingham on Friday 22 August.

The Tri Stars 2 started the days racing where Ocean Paulty-Maddy (Swansea) put in a fine performance finishing 7th, closely followed by Kate Pugh in 8th and Ossian Perrin (Anglesey) leading the boys the Welsh Boys home in 13th after Ioan Evans (Bridgend) was first out of the swim with a clear gap to the next swimmer. In the Tristars 3 Abbie Williams (Pembroke Doc) ran herself in to 5th place.
 
In the final event of the British Triathlon Youth Super Series, Issy Morris (Brecon) finished 10th, Awen Lewis (Neath) finished 13th and Issy Dives (Fishgurad) 14th
 
In the 2014 ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup, Rhiannon Middleton (Cardiff) posted her best result of the season finishing 9th and Deri Stewart (Neath) led our junior boys home in 6th, placing him 3rd in the British Junior Super Series.
