What are the benefits for a club to affiliate?

• The club can count on support from their Home Nation's staff and Regional Development Manager. This is especially useful when a club wants to develop to Clubmark or Starmark status, make a club development plan, set up a junior section etc.
• Club members will pay a reduced fee for individual membership with Triathlon England or Welsh Triathlon.
• Publication on the British Triathlon and Home Nation website and in the annual handbook.
• Club insurance often allows members to make use of certain facilities, e.g. open water.

Affiliation fees and insurance

All fees are per annum and run from 1 January 2012 (or when payment has been cleared) to 31 December 2012:

• £105 Affiliation fee including public liability cover
• £35 Affiliation fee without insurance - the club would need to obtain public liability insurance elsewhere that would cover the club for all activities.
