The ever popular Ruthin Triathlon was born back in 2014 and now it is back for 2024!
Based at Ruthin Leisure Centre nestled in the stunning Clwydian Range AONB guaranteeing a very picturesque location. This early season Sprint distance triathlon is perfect for chalking up some rapid times to warm up for the Welsh Superseries.
A 400m pool swim is followed by blasting through the Vale of Clwyd on a 24km fast road route and finishing with a 5km run through country lanes. This friendly community event is also perfect for those doing their first triathlon or just as a milestone on their own personal fitness journey. All finishers get a medal and trophies are awarded to the top three in the Open and Female categories. Additional trophies are awarded to the fastest in the their age group (U20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).
Don't forget we have also have the Junior Triathlon in the afternoon so bring the kids and make a day of it!
