Director of Communications

Kirsty is a Chartered Practitioner in Public Relations, with over 10 years’ experience in government communications in several organisations and departments. Her experiences include inspiring leadership for organisational development, strategic and creative thinking, leading multi-disciplined communication teams and developing innovative channel plans for impactful and accessible communication.

Kirsty is also Chairwoman of Newport and East Wales Triathlon Club (NEWT) where she provides vision and leadership to develop the club for its members, whilst championing the sport and driving forward inclusion.

She joined NEWT in 2013 and has participated in many triathlon events, including 2 x Ironman finishes, 7 middles distances and marathon swims. She is passionate about inspiring others and is a huge advocate of the sport offering something for everyone.
