What is your spirit biscuit? 

Mcvities gold. As I am always aiming for gold.


When did you first start triathlon and why?

1984. A new challenge. It was from the pool at Butlins Barry Island, I was the only female. Swam in the Butlins pool then cycled to Rhoose. A van was used to put our bikes in the back and brought them back to Barry while we ran back. Via porthkerry woods.


What is your best memory of a triathlon in Wales?

Finishing first in my age group @ Barry IslandWelsh championships May 2019, as a welsh tri member and making the Welsh team to represent Wales in the British championships at Nottingham.


What is your favourite Triathlon to race in Wales?

Cerist sprint in Machynlleth


What is your favourite motivational saying?

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming


What does joining this team mean to you?

Very proud and priviliged, as I am the oldest member I initially felt not worthy, until my family told me I had every right to be in the team, as I raced and deserved my place.
