Education and Learning Pathway
Whether your goal is to establish connections, explore new opportunities, or receive expert guidance as a coach, activator, or leader, we offer a comprehensive collection of courses, workshops, and resources.
Why Facilitate, Lead, Coach?
People choose to become triathlon coaches, activators, and leaders for various reasons. You may be an athlete or participant who wants to contribute to the sport you love, a parent of a child or simply inspired by the coaches and leaders around you. Whichever it is, if you have a passion for triathlon and a desire to improve the physical and mental well-being of others, becoming a coach, activator, or leader may be a fantastic option for you.
Current Status of Development
We are taking a phased approach to the development of qualifications on the new Education and Learning pathway. The Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching qualifications have now ended. The Foundation Coach and Group Coach qualifications will be launched in Autumn 2023 as replacements. These new qualifications have been designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of coaching principles and practices, equipping learners with the skills they need to support groups of participants in achieving their goals.
The Level 2 Diploma will continue to be delivered until Autumn 2024. At that time, we will be launching a new course called Personal Coach, which will build upon the skills and knowledge gained through the Foundation and Group Coach qualifications and provide learners with the opportunity to further develop their coaching expertise in a 1-1 coaching environment.
We believe that this phased approach to the development of qualifications will enable us to provide high-quality, relevant courses that meet the needs of learners, employers, and the coaching industry. We will continue to keep you updated on our progress as we move forward with the development of our Education and Learning framework.
Progressive, Adaptive, & Inclusive
Our education and learning philosophy is built upon the three pillars of progressive, adaptive, and inclusive approaches. By tailoring content to individual learners’ needs and abilities, these approaches can increase engagement and motivation. When you feel challenged but not overwhelmed, you tend to be more interested in learning and more likely to succeed.
Adaptive learning utilises technology to customise educational content and learning experiences to meet the unique needs of each learner. This ensures that you can progress at your own pace and receive support when you need it.
In addition, progressive, adaptive, and inclusive learning approaches can foster a love of learning in learners. Coaches, activators, and leaders can also benefit from this style of learning by continuing to improve and expand their knowledge and skills throughout their careers.
