Welsh Triathlon aligns with the following statement:

British Triathlon stands in support of Ukraine. In light of the recent events and in accordance with guidance from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), British Olympic Association (BOA) and World Triathlon, we will not be participating in events in Russia or Belarus and support the ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials.

British Triathlon condemns the invasion of Ukraine, we support the Ukrainian people and our friends in the Ukrainian triathlon community.  We are working through World Triathlon and Europe Triathlon to provide financial support in helping to keep them safe.
