GO TRI is a fantastic offer which provides participants aged 8 to 80 the chance to take part in Triathlon and its related multi-sport opportunities in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.
So far, over 2000 participants have engaged in GO TRI in Wales and we want to give more people the chance to get involved with Triathlon.
Welsh Triathlon would like to work with event organisers, clubs and community champions to put on GO TRI opportunities across Wales in order to give more people the chance to take part in the sport. GO TRI events have taken place in schools, local leisure centres, parks and gyms across Wales allowing us to engage with a wide audience.
Below we have listed a number of ways you can get involved with GO TRI:
As a participant GO TRI can help you with training plans and guidance that will lead you to taking part in your first Triathlon or multisport event. To start your GO TRI journey visit https://www.gotri.org
You can also get involved in TRI January, an initiative part of GO TRI linked to allowing individuals to achieve their personal fitness goals while taking part in Triathlon. More information on this can be found here https://www.gotri.org/training/take-on-your-triathlon-challenge!_147
As a participant, you can find a list of upcoming events here: https://www.britishtriathlon.org/events/search?event_name=&location=&date_from=&date_to=®ion=11&race_type=15&competitor_type=&swim_type=&championship_type=
