Welsh Triathlon are running a Coached Novice GoTri Open Water training session on 2nd July 2017

Welsh Triathlon are running a Coached Open Water session on 2nd July 2017 before the Gemau Cymru TriStar triathlon at Parc Bryn Bach, 9am-10am.

The aim of the session will be introducing those new to the sport to swimming in open water through developing the essential skills and confidence required to do so. Swimmers will be aged 14+ and will be capable to swimming for 5 minutes continuously.  

To maximise the numbers able to swim and participate Welsh Triathlon are looking for level 2 coaches to help deliver this session. 

To be insured for this coaches must have passed their Level 2 qualification since October 2011 or have attended the bolt on Open Water CPD course.  
This will be a great opportunity to apply and develop your experience of coaching in an open water environment and help in the growth and development of the sport.

Volunteer coaches will have their mileage expenses covered and will also receive a Welsh Triathlon event goody bag as a thank you for helping to deliver this session.
