Welsh Triathlon are delighted to announce the seven athletes who will be competing across Triathlon and Para Triathlon at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Non Stanford, Olivia Matthias and Iestyn Harrett return having competed at Gold Coast 2018 and are joined in the relay team by Dominic Coy. They will be joined by Issy Morris who is also competing in the female individual race, and by Rhys Jones and his guide, Rhys James, who will be competing within the Para-Triathlon.

2013 World Champion Non Stanford quoted "I'm so excited to be representing Wales at this years Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Competing for Team Wales alongside my fellow Team Wales athletes is such a special honour and a career highlight, and with Birmingham being the city in which is started triathlon, this year is going to be even more special for me."

Making history as Wales’ first Para-triathlete in the commonwealth games, Rhys Jones is “honoured and proud to represent Wales at the Commonwealth Games with my guide Rhys James. It has always been a dream of mine to represent my country and this means the world to me".
