The TriStar series is our flagship competition structure for athletes aged 9-14 and for many it’s their first experience of competitive multisport activity.
Welsh Triathlon have been going through a period of review and consultation regarding the TriStar series and we are pleased to share the Welsh Triathlon proposal for the series in 2020 and beyond.
Based on feedback we have identified three key priorities for the series;
- Provide positive, competitive experiences that engage young people in a love of sport for life.
- Enable young people to take part with minimal barriers
- Focus on races that support learning & development

We will be running a webinar presented by our Pathway Manger Louis Richards and supported by the British Performance Pathway Manager Dan Salcedo on Monday the 9th December at 18:00. The webinar will cover the proposal in more depth and offer the opportunity for you to ask questions and raise feedback.
