Welsh Triathlon General Manager -Part time role Cardiff based

 

Job Vacancy – General Manager Welsh Triathlon (part-time, 22 hours) Salary £21,000 2 year fixed-term contract + Pension + Benefits      

Location: Cardiff

British Triathlon in partnership with Welsh Triathlon, and the Sports Council of Wales is looking to appoint a part time (22 hours per week) General Manager for Welsh Triathlon based at its headquarters in Cardiff.

Welsh Triathlon is the National Governing Body for Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon in Wales and one of the three Home Nation members of the British Triathlon Federation.

This is a high profile role to lead and manage the day to day business of Welsh Triathlon.  You will support the development and delivery of the Welsh Triathlon strategic plan to increase membership, improve the club infrastructure development the talent pathway and build the financial stability of the organisation.

You will need experience of managing activities and staff within a similarly sized organisation and be able to create effective relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.  

This is a new post which has been created with extra funding from Sport Wales. It is an exciting opportunity for Welsh Triathlon which we believe will help promote growth, development and performance of multisport in Wales.
