Welsh Triathlon are proud to announce the ‘Welsh TriStar Series’ for 2018.
Following on from the success of 2017, the 2018 series will comprise of 10 events carefully selected events across Wales, featuring three new locations as Welsh triathlon attempts to make the sport as accessible as possible.
Each stage of the Series is organised by independent or club event organisers, and Welsh Triathlon will be working closely with each host to ensure that the series grows from strength to strength.

To enter each event, participants will need to register directly with the respected event organisers through their websites. Further information on each of the events will also be available through the Welsh Triathlon Events pages.
Participants will have their five highest scores from the selected events accumulated. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will then be awarded to participants within Tristar 1 (9-10yrs), Tristar 2 (11-12yrs) and Tristar 3 (13-14yrs). In order to compete for the Tristar Series, participants will need to be members of Welsh Triathlon. Membership information can be found here.
The location of the IRC qualifier 2018 is TBC, more information will available on the Welsh Triathlon website asap. In order to be eligible for selection for the IRC Championships (held at Mallory Park on the 15th and 16th of September), participants will need to complete in three Tristar Series events prior to the Qualifier.

Cyfres Tristar 2018
Y mae Triathlon Cymru yn falch i gyflwyno Cyfres 'Tristar 2018'.
Dilyn llwyddiant 2017, y bydd cyfres 2018 yn cynnwys deg cymal wedi lleoli dros Gymru gyfan. Y mae yna dri lleoliad newydd i'r gyfres eleni, sy'n arddangos y gwaith y mae Triathlon Cymru a'i phartneriaid yn gwneud er mwyn gwneud y gamp yn hygyrch i bawb.
Bydd pob cymal yn gal i drefnu gan glwb neu drefnwr annibynnol, a fydd Triathlon Cymru yn gweithio'n agos efo nhw i sicrhau fod y gyfres yn tyfu o nerth i nerth.

I gymryd rhan, fydd angen cofrestru efo'r trefnwyr annibynnol. Gallwch wneud hyn, a darllen fwy o fanylion am y cymalau drwy wefan Triathlon Cymru.
Er mwyn cystadlu drwy'r gyfres gyfan, fydd angen i gystadleuwyr chymryd rhan mewn o leiaf pump cymal. Fydd pedwar sgôr uchelaf pob cystadleuwr yn gal i atodi, a fydd y cystadleuwyr uchaf tu fewn Tristar 1 (9-10bl), Tristar 2 (11-12bl) a Tristar 3 (13-14bl) yn ennill medalau aur, arian ac efydd. Fydd angen i gystadleuwyr hefyd fod yn aelod o Triathlon Cymru. Am fwy o fanylion am aelodaeth, cliciwch fan hyn.
