Club of the Year 2017 shortlist announced
Club of the year Award
This year, Club of the Year nominations have been conducted as follows:
The Welsh Triathlon Development Manager shortlisted 5 clubs who have gone above and beyond to make their club a welcoming, successful club, who endeavour to grow the sport of triathlon.
The shortlisted clubs will now be put forward to an independant panel to select the winner.
The shortlisted clubs are as Follows:
- Caerphilly Tri-ers
- GOG Triathlon Club
- Just Tri
- Ruthin TriStars
- Cardiff Junior Triathlon Club
Pre-requisites for Club of the Year:
- Providing opportunities which support the growth of participation in triathlon and in Welsh Triathlon membership
- Providing participation opportunities which support growing diversity and inclusivity in Triathlon
- Supporting coaches, volunteers and officials.
- Supporting the development of triathlon through either hosting or attendance at permitted events and national championships
- To be eligible for this award a club must be affiliated to Welsh Triathlon. A club cannot win this award in consecutive years.
The club of the year will be announced by 28 September 2017
